Few things are as effective and easy to do when it comes to controlling health care costs as using generic prescription drugs whenever possible. Unfortunately, some people still have reservations about generic drug use.
Recently I had a discussion with a pharmacist about generics and learned a few things you may find of interest. Your prescription plan likely provides strong incentives or penalties to encourage generic use and with good reason as their cost can be less than half that of a brand drug.
