A million dollars a year for life … It’s not worth it.

After years of ignoring it, I finally succumbed to the Publishers Clearinghouse House ads on TV. What a mistake. You enter an endless maze of web pages, e-mails, on-line ads and such a complex process to finalize your entry it’s hard to determine if you are entered or not.

I almost thought I was enrolling in a health insurance exchange which I suspect is going to be easier.

After receiving the last e-mail to confirm something or other, for what seems the hundredth time, I give up. Even a million dollars isn’t worth this. Let’s see, you start with a million then you pay 39% in federal taxes, 9% in state taxes and another 3.8% in the extra Obamacare unearned income tax and that leaves you $482,000 … all this and you now go from middle class to the target of our President because you are now among that elite percentage that does not pay its fair share … and your Medicare premium goes up too.

Nope, it’s definitely not worth the aggravation.
