Is it just me? Where is the outrage? Government employees on vacation.

Furloughed government employees who are sitting home without pay will eventually receive their pay retroactively once the screwballs in Congress get their act together and have a budget and raise the debt ceiling (oh goody!).

Okay, government workers should not be penalized by political incompetence, but why the hell are they on vacation?

Wouldn’t you like it if your boss told you to take the summer off without pay, but come Labor Day you would get all your back pay?

Are these workers going to give back their new found vacation by working extra hours for free? LOL

Tell me, am I missing something? Shouldn’t these workers be back on the job and every government function working again ….. NOW? I’m guessing there is some obscure legal reasoning keeping them off the job or perhaps some union rule, but let’s have a little common sense here … forgive me, I forgot we are talking about Washington, DC.
