The other day I heard Senator Schumer of New York say the following with regard to the benefits of Obamacare:
A women who is a single parent with three children will now be able to spend more time with her children.
What the heck does that mean? How much does a single mother of three have to earn to be able to work less than 30 hours a week or to quit her job?
The presumption is that she is working to obtain employer-based health insurance but now she is free at last.
For a women who lives in Indiana her children are eligible for Medicaid or CHIPS up until an income of $59,000. But let’s say she does earn $59,000. Following are her health care options in her county in Indiana. She is eligible for a $426 tax credit, but even that is no bargain if you look at her premium and out-of-pocket costs. On the other hand, if she drops her hours and hence her income, she could see her children covered not by private coverage, but by Medicaid.
So her income goes down, her out-of-pocket health care costs likely go up and her children end up on Medicaid.
Is that what we call progress? Is that what it takes for women to spend more time with their children, Senator?

Well you have identified perhaps the biggest phony in the Democrat party. This man has never held a job outside of government in his entire life and spends his Sunday mornings holding press conferences pontificating to the rest of us- telling us what we need and should be spending more money on.By the way ,Chuck is Anthony Weiner’s political mentor. That should tell you something right there.
As for double talk, I really think it’s “trouble talk”. These clowns are willing to do or say anything at this point to give the appearance that the monster they created with the AHC act is the best thing to happen to Americans since the electric light bulb was invented. The monster just needs a little lip stick and all will be fine. There must be something wrong with the rest of us…right?
