Yup! It does mostly because of maternity benefits … and the fact women are more inclined to visit the doctor and use preventive services (dental care too) … which may also mean they are smarter than the rest of us.

But what it also means is higher costs for plans with a higher proportion of women. No war on women, just a fact.😷
