Following is the opening sentence from an Organizing for Action e-mail:
With 26 days left before this year’s enrollment deadline, a lot of us are working hard to make sure our friends and neighbors get covered.
While I agree all Americans should have health insurance regardless of how they get it, isn’t it curious that proponents of Obamacare should have to work hard to make sure people get coverage?😳
I’m being a bit facetious because decades of experience tell me getting people to pay attention to health and other benefits important to them is a fruitless endeavor. Why, remains a mystery. But it is one of my best examples of individuals screwing themselves up through inattention and inaction.
Imagine how frustrating this must be for those who think Obamacare is manna from heaven.
