While left leaning economists shudder over the gap between the 1% and everyone else, the majority of us mortals apparently have enough money to live on comfortably even after five years of being told how abused we are, not that we would turn down a winning lottery ticket or a few thousand shares of a Fortune 500 company.
According to a new Gallup poll:
Another measure of Americans’ personal finances has shown a positive uptick over the last two years. Seventy-one percent of Americans now say they have enough money to live comfortably, while 28% say they do not. Over the last 12 years, the majority of Americans have consistently said that they have enough money to live comfortably, but that percentage fell to as low as 60% in 2012.

I wonder how many in the 28% would have sufficient money if they were more prudent with their spending … just askin.
