Liberals like to point out the obstructionism and unwillingness of Republicans to compromise. They use this as an excuse to defend the President’s lack of leadership and heavy use of tools to circumvent Congress. In other words, unless you agree with me, your point of view is harmful.
Think I’m making this up? Just look to our college campuses, those bastions of knowledge and experience, where students and professors can’t stand to listen to a commencement speaker for twenty minutes because they disagree with their politics, policies or careers.
Is this what we mean by a liberal education?
