Much has been made of the Supreme Court slapping down the Barack Obama administration unanimously yesterday — twice. It ruled that the administration acted unconstitutionally by making recess appointments when Congress had not said it was in recess. And it unanimously ruled that a Massachusetts law regulating anti-abortion protesters was unconstitutional. The administration had urged that it be upheld.
Yet these cases are actually just the latest in a series of unanimous rebukes by the court of the administration’s legal positions. In Hosanna-Tabor vs. EEOC of 2012, for example, the court unanimously held, again contrary to the administration’s position, that religious freedom includes a church’s right to make personnel decisions.

What did you expect from a conservative SCOTUS appointed by Bush (the dumber one)? American voters will punish the right-wing idiots in 2014. We are building a huge but localized organization (I am part of it) to retake the House, retain the Senate and to rebuild our nation that has been crippled by right-wing ideology and legislative obstructionism for 6 years. We will return this beloved nation from an oligarchy to a democratic republic for the people and by the people. Republicans will wish they had approved jobless benefits after the next elections.

John, I can’t agree that his dumbass comments were missed although sometime so stupid it gives one a chuckle sometimes. I was hoping they would send him to Iraq as an advisor. That ought to solve a few problems there and get another Obama liberal out of here.

Wilson, do you know what unanimous means? Did you read the whole article. Did you read where the justices appointed by Obama voted against his illegal activity? Do you honestly not see or care how this Administration conducts its affairs?

It is about time our Justice Department exercise some dillegence be it ever so small to restrain this administration. Now if we can start to get back some of our other liberties that have been slowly removed under the guise of offending outsiders. They chose to settle in our country. When in Rome – do as….. After all this is America – our ancesters learned our ways and adopted our culture – stop giving away our inalienable rights.
We do not want what Hitler did nor do we want to see what is going on in the Middle East to ever reach our shores. We must stand for who we are and what we developed as a nation.
