When, in the course of human events,

It’s not BBQs, parades or fireworks. It is the birth of a Republic like nothing before or after in the world.

If only more Americans appreciated the difference between the United Stares of America and other countries. If only Americans took a small amount of time to understand the foundations of their liberty. If only Americans knew the sacrifices made by so many over the last 238 years.

Celebrate the meaning of the Fourth of July!

  2. Our president took the opportunity today to again criticize congress for failing to pass comprehensive immigration reform (aka amnesty for those already hear and those, particularly the young children, streaming across our southern border) at a ceremony bestowing citizenship on certain members of the military.

Simply, it is a political opportunity for some, which of course, is a level much lower than fireworks, etc.
