My hope for Obama getting it on he Middle East is fading

This morning I saw Secretary Kerry speaking on ISIL. He went to great pains to say that what we were doing and how we were fighting was not war, but rather some effort fighting terrorism.

Fighting an organization with 10,000-30,000 men under arms and controlling the area the size of Maryland is hardly a anti-terrorist action. It’s a war whether or not we admit it.

After the 2008 campaign war may be a dirty word in the Administration and that’s fine, it’s always a horrible word, but let’s hope we don’t conduct ourselves with a naive or politically expedient approach to all this. There is a lot at stake.

  1. I keep asking myself over and over again how in the world this man was elected in 2012. Ok we all make mistakes i voted for him in 2008…..I’m an independent voter…….such incompetence, indecision and down right lies on just about anything that comes out of their mouths…..it’s astounding….!…..it is true…..anything is possible in America!.

  2. His hopes are fading because the world now knows, he is not to be trusted. He would hang them out to dry, just like he does to our troops. The ROE for any combat unit needs to be removed. You either go to win entirely, or we keep them home.
