“The political system is rigged”

So says Elizabeth Warren.

Ms. Warren repeated assertions in a speech to an enthusiastic labor audience in Washington that the U.S. political system is “rigged’’ in favor of wealthy corporations at the expense of everyday families, an argument that has made her a darling of the left and the subject of efforts to draft her as a presidential candidate. From article 1-8-15 WSJ

Just remember if she is your darling of the left, Ms Warren is as much a part of the political system as anyone in Washington. She took $45 million in campaign contributions from people wanting to influence her, some who run “wealthy corporations” (and not from the middle-class need I point out). Warren is part of the 1%!

Remember, if you want to unrig the political system, push for term limits thereby reducing the ability for anyone to influence politicians. Ask Warren if she will pledge not to run again after six years. Ask for a law that no former member of Congress or appointed official can be employed by a campaign donor for at least five years after they have left office.

You want to reform the system, start where the problem lies; with those who are influenced not with some vague buzzwords about a rigged system and wealthy corporations, corporations aren’t people, politicians are.
