The above statement was made by a women calling a radio show about financial planning. I could understand if she said, “I’m not knowledgable about investing, I don’t want anything complicated,” but I’m a senior citizen is insulting and a stereotype.
Not long ago I called a service center about a health insurance claim, a topic I know something about. After a few minutes of talking, the rep said, “I see you are seventy-one, you don’t sound like you are that old.” Holy grap‼️
Now I wonder, do people become stupid at age 65? If you are knowledgable, informed and not stupid at age 60, does that all dissipate at 65?
Here’s my theory, if you are not an overall knowledgeable person before you are a senior citizen, you won’t be after you are. On the other hand, if you are, you will continue to be.
How many of us seasoned citizens like to play the I don’t understand, that’s too complicated, I can’t, age card? Hey, why not, we get lots of discounts whether we need them or not‼️😜😜😜😜😜
But you all know everybody feels sorry for seniors, all seniors are poor, feeble and dumb … hey go for it😳

A few days ago, I went to our local post office feeling pretty good – even at age 70. I was admiring a very attractive young girl and feeling about her age at heart. Then she opened the door for me and I felt lake I was 70
