Have you ever heard the term Presbyterian American, Catholic American, Morman American, Jewish American or Hindu American? 

It’s a ridiculous classification is it not?

Then why do I hear politicians and the press using Muslim American? 

How did ones religion become anything more than a persons individual beliefs and their relationship with whomever they worship? 

Does what is happening in the Middle-East change Islam from a religion into something else? If that is true, can it coexist anywhere that cannot accept its ideology and law?

Religion can be the most comforting or most destructive force on earth. History since time began shows us, but we never learn.
