Most Americans agree with increasing worker eligibility for overtime pay, raising the minimum wage and requiring companies to offer paid sick leave, vacation, and family and medical leave. Americans oppose strengthening labor unions.

Okay, but let’s hope they also agree with higher prices or lower earnings … everything comes with a price. If you are willing to pay, that’s fine.
QUINNSCOMMENTARY 
Favor, sure, everything else remaining equal. But employers don’t have a manic deep pocket. You want more pay for time worked, watch other employer-paid rewards slow or decline – particularly paid time off.
Where there is only a wage and no benefits, watch employers reduce hours. Want more unpaid “vacation” and variable work hours with an eye on the clock, here it comes. Expect to see widespread recharacterization to hourly status with less benefits, too!
