We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.
So if benefits aren’t going to be cut for Americans, who will? The French? Remember, a “cut” in benefits occurs for each person where the cost (taxes) a person pays are increased to pay for existing, already promised benefits).
Or, will Congress simply run a higher deficit and put it on the credit card – to be paid by future generations?
No, sir, they are stupid enough, and more. Or, perhaps sly like a fox – saddling future generations of politicians with this challenge.
