Well, if for decades we emphasized the “free lunch” what do we expect.
When 49% of us pay no federal income tax then why not argue for lower property tax.
Check out all the New Jersey tax breaks for seniors both personal and property. It is extensive.
Nobody likes to pay taxes but we do for the most part.
