Bigotry, racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia…

call it what you will.

Is this the state of America? Is this the way people on the political right think as a group?

I hope not.

In any case, Congress can’t pass a law defining who is eligible to be elected to Congress, that is in the Constitution.

NOTE: The following not confirmed, but is consistent with his past actions regarding citizenship issues. The fact it is appearing (with support) on social media is itself concerning – or should be.

Common sense measure? Not such a law.

Common sense says get the best and brightest, most qualified to help run our country.

Common sense says a person immigrating to our country can have as much or more ties to our country and values and may appreciate them more as well.

This is not common sense, it is fear and hate and it is part of a far right strategy.

There are about 25 million naturalized citizens in the US. This is an insult to them all.

This type of thinking, posting indicates how low we are sinking.

I thought the Constitution said you had to be born here, or to American parents abroad, and be an American citizen to run for president–didn’t Obama have an issue with this—Trump said he was born in Kenya and Obama had a birth certificate for Hawaii. Henry Kissinger had the Obama issue. Illegals I guess can’t run for the office of president.

Congress is another matter–would require an amendment–ain’t going to happen boys!! the crazy woman pictured married her brother, so they say, to stay and annoy us. I love hearing her expound her hateful views–those views you run over and over in ads when you run against a lefty–any lefty–one of the faces of the party.

well, brother Smallwood you’ve got 3+ years of hell awaiting you and your friends–but you helped elect the orange haired country wrecker–as I tell my lefty friends we start with your views are stupid and move on from there.

the candidate was a homophobe as she writes in her book about the best candidate in ’24 for her ticket was the gay fellow who was head of DOT–he was too gay she says–no gay on the ticket with me she says—another hypocritical lefty–didn’t surprise me–so many white liberals moved to ‘burbs and we know why.

    1. That “crazy” woman did not marry her brother and was automatically a naturalized citizen when she was 17 when her father became a citizen – thats the law for children.

the woman along with the rest of her crew are definitely crazy as hoot owls–“It’s all about the Benjamins” says she and then here since 1995 she says she is unaware of the tropes.

“Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and see the evil doings of Israel”. No pills for stupid!

Just a few of the stupid utterances she spews forth–even the loons on the left have a hard time defending her. My sources at Fox News say she married her brother–what do your sources at MSNBC say about that?

        Smart–Savvy–Dangerous–Hates Jews

Ever wonder why Democrats on college campuses hate Jews? Not letting them attend classes or enter dorms–showing affinity toward Hamas a terrorist group. Lot of sick SOB’s out there!

      2. Off topic?

I had a friend/classmate years ago who asked whether ‘Jewish’ was a race or religion. She was Jewish herself, but not sure. Were the students anti Semitic or anti Israeli?

  2. On a personal note, I am afraid that this is the greatest test to our republic since the civil war.   Reminds me of a country song whose lyrics make a point of saying that if you find yourself going through Hell- DON’T STOP- keep going until you get out the other side.  Unfortunately, the other side seems so far away right now.
