Obamacare does not provide healthcare, your doctor does and your doctor provides your care regardless of which insurance pays his or her fee.
The reality is when you present your insurance ID, the doctor’s office does not know where you obtained your insurance. For example, an ID card from an employer plan is likely self-insured with an insurance company paying the claims, but no insurance involved. Your Aetna card may be from an exchange plan or employer insurance or private plan. All your provider knows is your deductible and any co-pays and coverage dates.
Today premiums are going up in all forms of insurance, including Medicare, simply because we use more and more expensive healthcare. We are an obese, aging population.
All premiums for insurers within Obamacare must be approved in advance by state or federal agencies.

Who was it that promised a great new health plan?
In 2017 Donald Trump tweeted: “ObamaCare will explode and we will all get together, and piece together a great healthcare plan for THE PEOPLE – and we won’t have to talk about it anymore… Do not worry!”
This came amid his repeated campaign and early presidency pledges to repeal the Affordable Care Act and replace it with something better, though no comprehensive plan ever fully materialized.
