People tell me I should ignore it, but I can’t. I’m talking about social media especially Threads, X and TruthSocial.
They are cesspools of hate, xenophobia, racism and incredible ignorance. Posts make outrageous false claims which are “liked” and supported by hundreds, sometimes thousands of others.
The real concern for me is does all this reflect the views of most Americans. Why do many of the most outrageous posts come from Trump supporters more than any group?
One thing for sure, much of what is posted displays a serious lack of understanding about economics, taxes, our own government and civics in general.
Ah, here is one more enlightened American – in need of grammar improvement as well.
