President Barack Obama said in his 2012 State of the Union address.
“We can’t just keep subsidizing skyrocketing tuition; we’ll run out of money.”
Let’s play a game. If that statement applies to college tuition which most people would agree is a very worthwhile and necessary investment for both individuals and society, what other word could we use to make the President’s statement even more signifucant.
I’ll go first. Let’s substitute “tuition” with:
Government
Solar power
Electric cars
Mismanaged companies
Americans who get old
Public employee unions
Sub prime mortgages
Health care
People who are not really disabled
