As I approach the start of my 71st year on this planet, I claim the right to declare unequivocally that somewhere approaching a majority of people are dumb, inconsiderate and unqualified to occupy valuable space. Perhaps that’s a bit harsh, but I can’t help it, I’m running out of time to garner support for my conclusions.
And on what do I base this judgement? There are four elements that in my view should be tests directly associated with the right to vote among other things like reproducing. Forget the picture ID these are far more important.
- 1. If there are numerous parking spaces available, pulling into the space next to another car or between two other cars is clear evidence of a deep seated psychological problem. You’re disqualified!
- 2. If you are placing recycling into a bin clearly marked no plastic bags and you nonetheless dump plastic bags into the container, you are obviously a social deviant unfit to help determine the direction of our society.
- 3. If you are driving a car with a disabled sticker and the disabled person is not in the car but you occupy a disabled space anyway, you have an entitlement mentality and that’s the last type of person we need voting now.
- 4. If you use the self checkout lane in a supermarket and you begin checking out before the person ahead of you has bagged their purchase resulting in your items mingling with the other customers, you are just stupid and inconsiderate. In addition, be warned that in addition to forfeiting your citizenship, I will selectively purloin items you have purchased and place them in my bags.
There you have it, the secret to life in four simple rules.
