To have any chance of reaching the stated goal of enrolling 7,000,000 uninsured Americans in health insurance by March 2014, an average of about 58,000 individuals must be enrolled every day from tomorrow forward.
Even though it’s true many, if not most people, will wait until the last minute to act, that number represents some heavy lifting.
Should that goal be achieved, some 40,000,000 Americans will be paying the penalty for not having insurance beginning in 2014.
