The much maligned 1% are running the Country and making decisions affecting your life … no really … not in the shadows, not through tax loopholes and buying Congress.
They are in Congress😳. Many Members of Congress are multi-millionaires. Like the rest of the 1% their wealth is largely in investments and most earned their money or invested wisely; a few inherited their wealth.
Of course, there are also some very average income people in Congress too.
Being a member of Congress can be a financial strain on a family. No wonder it attracts the wealthy. We should think about that when we decide who to vote for.
