So, now you can buy a home with as little as 3.5% down, with low interest rates and the administration wants to further lower fees.
Every house I purchased required 20% down with mortgage rates between 7.5% and 9-3/4 … That was in the good old days.
What are these ideologues thinking? Didn’t we learn our lesson in the past? Home ownership is not a right, it’s a goal to be earned fairly. Remember, the root cause of the last recession was government policy that promoted, encouraged and enabled sub-prime lending.
