On his website Inequality for All, Robert Reich says this:

Major breadwinners you say? One could assume that means a husband or wife or head of a family. Now look at the facts. 50% under age 25, 24% teenagers and 64% part-time. Do these stats sound like major breadwinners?
Pew Research finds
people at or below the federal minimum are:
- Disproportionately young: 50.4% are ages 16 to 24;
- 24% are teenagers (ages 16 to 19).
- Mostly (77%) white; nearly half are white women.
- Largely part-time workers (64% of the total).
It would be nice to have other than misleading information to make decisions on.
