We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.

didn’t I just see a multitude of Mexican flags carried by protestors while the flag flying that you present was being burned–I guess there are consequences for allowing millions to cross illegally–you reap what you sow.

I fly an Irish flag on St Patrick’s day and I see Italian flags on Columbus Day. Frustration is a consequence of injustice. In this case the Trump roundup – except if you pick fruit I guess.

One of the reasons why we have immigration laws is because America decided long ago, 1924 in particular, that they wanted to control who came to America, and that those who came to America wanted to become Americans, would be self-sustaining, etc.
We have admitted more than 1 MM per year, on average, every year for the past 100 years.
There is no valid defense for those who did not follow American laws when they came here.
Worse, because the prior Administration urged them to come, and processed their arrivals without challenging assertions of asylum, such that they would be here years before their asylum claims, real or bogus, were reviewed, that was an intentional decision to crap on Congress decision-making authority in crafting and approving immigration law. A clear abuse by the prior executive branch.
Is it an abuse by the current executive branch to attempt to enforce laws that were approved and have not been amended?
Certainly, the current executive branch needs to follow the laws regarding the process – unlike the prior Administration who not only ignored, but flouted our immigration laws.

Today would have been my parent’s 73rd anniversary. Alas, they have already “crossed the river.” Have a respectful Flag Day! I just put mine out for display. Smith smallwood
