This sums it up. Does anyone care?

This is a post a friend of mine put on Facebook.

I’m still waiting for the acolytes who usually show up here to weigh in on the full pardon Trump bestowed on Juan Orlando Hernandez, one of the world’s most notorious drug traffickers, who flooded the U.S. with 500 tons of cocaine, who was convicted and sentended to 45 years in federal prison on the basis of an investigation started by Trump’s own DOJ during his first term.

Hernandez apparently had some some heavy-lifting friends in MAGA-world, including Roger Stone. Then there’s the pardon for Joseph Schwartz, a nursng home fraudster and tax cheat, who stole from his employees and put elderly residents at his facilities at risk.

Oh, and then there’s the pardon for cryptocurrency billionaire Chengpang Zhao, co-founder of Binance, convicted of money-laundering. Federal prosecutors said Zhao’s schemes represented a threat to national security but when asked about the pardon, Trump said, “Oh I have no idea who he is.”

Ya think the pardon might have something to do with the intertwined relationships among Binance and Trump family cryptocurrency businesses? And maybe the MAGA usual suspects can explain the $600M loan granted a new startup business of which Donald Trump Jr. is a principal.

This is the most corrupt Administration in American history.

But those illegal immigrants are criminals and they have to go – as soon as they finish washing our dishes, cutting our lawns, building our houses and picking our vegetables.

And you’re worried about fraud in claiming SNAP benefits?

  1. “And you’re worried about fraud in claiming SNAP benefits?” Yes, and failure to enforce immigration laws, and failure to enforce crime laws, and running $1+ Trillion in annual deficits, and failure in public education, and so much more.

Worried more about the above than I am about all of the Biden (autopen) and Trump (actual pen) abuses of the power to pardon.

  2. I don’t understand your indignation at this stage of your life. You do recall the quote by General Patton, “Government is a criminal enterprise writ large”. This administration is no different than those that preceded it.
As for snap benefits being paid fraudulently, I can assure you there is fraud and as for the illegal immigrants, why does the reduction in their numbers not make us poorer since their addition supposedly makes us richer? If sending migrants home will raise our wages due to fewer workers, is that because wages were lowered when they arrived initially and increased worker availability? No one ever gives reasonable answers to these questions but I’m certain you can.

beginning to sound like the previous administration–a pox on both of them–I thought Trump was blowing up boats to save us from narco-terrorists–sounds like he just pardoned one of the major terrorists–there is no end to Trump and self promotion–time to buy a Trump watch for my lefty friends!
