What he didn’t talk about matters most.

This is the essence of the matter. This is the mental state of someone who sees others out to get him, because he is flawless and can’t be wrong and can’t lose.

This is a malignant narcissist displaying his latest propaganda ploy.

But the bottom-line message he clearly wanted to leave with the public was this: He is not a loser, regardless of the result of the 2020 election. There were dark forces at work to thwart him. And if his party loses this fall’s midterm election, he intimated, that may not be an honest outcome either. NYTs

Making America Great

This address, as usual, was all about him. Economic issues such as Social Security, the cost of living, the deficit, and the national debt and other important issues for Americans and our country were largely absent from this address.

In other words, he used prime time to revisit an old grievance rather than to address the immediate national concerns that are driving public opinion and affecting American’s lives.

He urged Congress to pass the SAVE America Act, which would tighten federal voter registration requirements, including requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship. Shouldn’t we ask how that law would prevent the external interference that Trump claims?

His criticism and accusations against China were hardly a smart diplomatic strategy, but how does that matter, it was all about his own obsession, not international relations with a powerful adversary.
