We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.
It’s fairly simple. The national debt has been cussed and discussed for years and it is always there in big numbers that most people can’t comprehend. The politicians ignore it when they pass spending bills so everyone figures it is just something out there.
The no tax on SS benefits , tips, whatever are real to the people who might get the tax cut. No one sees their getting a few bucks back from IRS as affecting a 40 trillion dollar balloon that Washington seemingly ignores.
This is why so many people salivate at the med a new tax cut.
