A memo to progressive millionaires and billionaires, you too can ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country … and here it is

Between February 25 and 26 the federal debt increased by over $8 billion dollars. To equal that amount you would have to tax 800 people earning $10 million a year at 100% (In fact, there are about 8,000 such families). However, there is a better, easier way, a way that gives patriotic Americans of great wealth a vehicle to support their views on giving back and fairness.

So Mr Buffett, Mr Gates, Mr Bloomberg, Mr Soros and all our West Coast elite friends, simply abandon your foundations and aid to this cause and that and write one check.
