Kathleen Sebelius resigns …. we wish

Kathleen Sebelius, the U.S. health secretary, called for an investigation of what went wrong with the October 1st debut of healthcare.gov and said she’s taking steps to prevent future failures.

It’s hard to believe the audacity of these people. What went wrong, seriously?

What went wrong was incompetent management, lack of oversight and politically driven decision-making, all under the watch of Secretary Sebelius and she has the chutzpah to ask for an investigation.

  1. Sebellius probably offered to resign but was asked to stay on until nearer next year’s election. In that way the administration will dump as much blame on her as they can, and then say that the new guy/gal will really, really get things running in 2015, naturally provided that you vote for the Democrats.

  2. Let’s not get caught up in a blame Sebelius frenzy. It’s true that she signed up as an administration team player tasked with implementing the Affordable Healthcare law but she didn’t write, pass or sign the bill. I am certainly not an apologist for the Madam Secretary and obviously she should take full responsibility for the poor implementation of the law but the blame for the failings of the law should be directed at those who pushed the (“you have to pass it to see what’s in it”) bill through Congress. Let’s focus on November of 2014 and not Ms. Sebelius.

  3. There is no accountability in the entire administration. What’s worse people screw up and are actually rewarded with promotions. They remind me of the New York Yankees, who suffered their worse season in 19 years and yet not a single person was fired in the front office.

  4. The results of the”investigation” will likely be similar to those of the IRS ,Bengazi etc. NOThIng and a whitewash from the press. However they may be able to blame it on the Republicans or better yet the Tea Party!Another waste of time and money when you have correctly stated the reasons for the problems.
