America the Beautiful

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

  1. Good idea as long as they are in the proper places. Much rather be dependent on the wind and the sun than with the Middle East. You see these all over Europe and they don’t pose any problems or eyesores.

    1. In the right places is the key. Over polluted land that can’t be otherwise used is fine, but those turbines sticking up over beautiful hills and fields look horrible. The thing is though we still need traditional generation because these alternatives are not fully reliable based on weather conditions.
