I am preparing a series of posts containing tips for your annual health benefits open enrollment. It doesn’t matter if you receive health insurance through your employer, through an Affordable Care Act Exchange, on your own or through Medicare, there are certain decisions that you must make.
Sadly, most people pay little attention to annual enrollment periods, instead assuming that their current coverage is all they need. That can be a costly mistake.
In any case, before I write these posts, I would appreciate some feedback. What would you like to know, what questions about health insurance do you have? What ideas do you have that you think are important to cover?

Is this true that under the ACA that hospitals will ration care according to you age if you have Cancer; and at age 76 you will not be eligible for any more cancer treatments?

As a baby boomer taking care of my mother who has alzheimers, I would appreciate knowing some information about what they do and don’t cover.

OK, Mr. Quinn, you asked. Please keep your observations positive and constructive. Support the PPACA which is only a beginning, but a brave and productive beginning to achieve universal healthcare in the only first world country in the world with out it. Preceding presidents tried to enact similar legislation for 50+ years and failed. Stop your biased right-wing criticism and only partial reporting of the facts. Although you obviously greatly dislike POTUS, show respect for the office and man who was twice elected by the people. Man up, Mr. Quinn. Realize that you views are fading to the wrong side of history and get with the desires of the American people. Keep your blog relevant and worth reading. You are very knowledgeable and authoritative on matters of healthcare and your readers respect that very much. However, your new postings have been increasingly far right, terribly biased, racist, disgusting and ludicrous.

I think it’s the facts that get me in trouble with folks who rather drink the cool aid of the political left. Just because an idea sounds good doesn’t mean it’s practical or will work. I’m not sure exactly what the desires of the American people are. They don’t appear to support the President or Congress. I sure would appreciate knowing exactly which posts fit the biased, racist, disgusting and ludicrous category.
