Medicare changes for seniors age 76 and older—- more nonsense‼️

Perhaps you are among the many Americans who have received the following or a similar e-mail. It’s not new, but seems to be circulating once again. It is nonsense, there are no new Medicare rules regarding 76 year olds. There is no requirement that a primary care physician must admit you to the hospital.

These and similar claims are poor and reprehensible attempts to discredit the Affordable Care Act. You should not pass them along and help spread such rumors.

It is this type of silliness that discredits honest debate and criticism of Obamacare.

Hi Ya’ll,

I found this to be quite interesting now that I’m 76 years old. Most of you are aware I spent five days in the hospital last year from dehydration. I was admitted by an emergency room doctor, so under these new rules, I would have had to pay the freight.

I know most of you are now reaching age 76, or will be soon. Good luck to all. Please feel free to pass this along.

Your hospital Medicare admittance has just changed under Obama Care.

You must be admitted by your primary Physician in order for Medicare to pay for it! If you are admitted by an emergency room doctor it is treated as outpatient care where hospital costs are not covered. This is only the tip of the iceberg for Obama Care.Just wait to see what happens in this year and 2014!

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LIKE THIS… At age 76 when you most need it most, you are not eligible for cancer treatment * see page 272. What Nancy Pelosi didn’t want us to know until after the health care bill was passed. Remember she said, “We have to pass the Bill so that we can see what’s in it.”Well, here it is.
