We have met the enemy … and he is us!

That’s a good observation by Pogo.

As Ferguson burns, as poorly informed or simply ignorant protestors” throw paint and raise their hands in a long discredited symbol of surrender, Pogo’s words come to mind.

For those who feel isolated, disrespected or deprived it’s time to open your eyes and see who the real enemy may be. It may just be the inclination to believe what fits into your stereotype and to discount facts and circumstances. Sometime the truth does hurt.

The crowd mentality may just be the greatest of human flaws.

Here is a prime example of why we can’t move forward. Here is an example of incompetent leaders and incitement to move in the wrong direction.
