President’s approval rating

You would think that with all the hoopla surrounding his elections and the very vocal liberal press and the progressive left that Mr Obama would at least have approval ratings comparable with some of our most popular presidents. Instead he is on par with some of our not so admired presidents and one of the most polarizing ever.

What’s up with that⁉️ Shouldn’t our most important leader be able to bring more than half the Country with him regardless of political opposition? A leader who cannot do that is probably too far left or too far right don’t you think?

  1. Well, there is more forgiveness of student loans, the proposal for “free” community college, “free” contraceptives and more. Enhanced tax credits, subsidized health care and a variety of things in the proposed budget. And there are many ideas floated by his ideological cohorts like Warren and Sanders. As far as foreign affairs go, that should be obvious to anyone. It certainly is to the rest of the world.

  2. The really ugly truth of the matter, Mr. Quinn, is that he’s neither too far left nor too far right – rather he’s too black.

    1. I can’t speak for everyone, but I could care less his color (and by the way he is no more black than he is white. The last time I checked 50% of two different things never made you 100% of either).

I care very much about his far left ideology and what it is doing to this country by making more and more Americans dependent on the government and other Americans and undermining initiative and personal responsibility. I care very much about indecision and lack of leadership on the international front. I care very much about his tendency to constantly find scapegoats for every problem and to propose no concrete solutions to real problems other than to play Robin Hood.

      1. Mr. Quinn, I am well aware that the President is only half black, but the bigoted racist Teapublican base sees only his black skin. Tell me just one thing that President Obama has done to “make more Americans dependent on the government and to undermine initiative and personal responsibility”? President Obama didn’t change the eligibility requirements for welfare or food stamps. More people now qualify because Republicans continue to raise taxes on the middle and lower classes, reduce taxes for the 1% and refuse to raise the minimum wage or to support immigration reform. You and a host of other right-wing critics continue to decry “indecision and lack of leadership on the international front” without ever proffering one single alternative action for what our President is doing. Do you see yourself as an expert on Middle Eastern military strategy? Every single solution to real problems that the President has proposed has been blocked by obstructionist Republicans. And then they have the audacity to blame the President because so little is getting done. What you are posting is Republican lunacy. You are following in the path of a Ted Cruz – if lies are repeated often enough, they are deemed by many to be the truth.

  3. Nice piece.. I just don’t understand why people are complaining so much about Your President. At least your country is not run by lunatics such as Putin or crazy mullahs in Iran.
