All those folks who think McDonalds should pay $15 a hour are on to something. Fifteen dollars an hour is $31,200 a year which means a couple flipping burgers would earn $62,400; well above the median family income today and light years away from proverty.
Just think of it, all those decades of fighting poverty and the solution was right there in a Happy Meal. There are additional benefits as well. No need for education beyond high school (or even high school). No special training needed by anyone.
A chicken in every pot you say? I say a Big Mac on every corner‼️

Hmmm – not bad I can’t wait to have my $10 Big Mac! Now my good buddy in Massachusetts just came to learn that a single mother of 2-3 children ‘earn’ about $52,000 to $56,000 in entitlements – why work at Mickie Dee’s at all ????
