Don’t get me wrong, raise the minimum wage already, even set it to go up with inflation. However, unless we figure a way to get people to move out of their minimum wage jobs, we accomplish nothing.
We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.
QUINNSCOMMENTARY 
I equate raising the minimum wage to ring in a dingy. As the water level (wage base) goes up so does the dingy on the water.
As wages go up so do the cost of products – hence no gain unless one educates or trains for a higher rung on the financial ladder of life.
Sometimes the raise tosses the wage earner over the breakpoint for continued eligibility for other assistance like foodstuffs or energy assistance.
