Most Democrats Think Illegal Immigrants Should Vote – Rasmussen Reports™.

This is how far we have come; where we are going is a different matter.

Just in case you forgot: The simple requirements for federal election voting eligibility include being over eighteen (18) years of age and a U.S. citizen, by either birth or the naturalization process.

This one is beyond me, presumably if you are in this Country illegally you cannot become a citizen.  Nonetheless, 53% of Democrats think illegal immigrants should be allowed to vote. 

What are they thinking? What a slap in the face to people who come here legally and work to meet the requirements of citizenship. What an insult to our history, to all who immigrated legally over the centuries and to our Constitution. 

I guess this is one way to get around the voter ID controversy … we don’t care who the hell you are or how you got here‼️

Somebody please enlighten me. Are there no standards that matter anymore?

Are voters ready to let illegal immigrants vote? A sizable number, including most Democrats, are.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that one-out-of-three Likely U.S. Voters (35%) now believes that illegal immigrants should be allowed to vote if they can prove they live in this country and pay taxes. Sixty percent (60%) disagree, while five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Fifty-three percent (53%) of Democrats think tax-paying illegal immigrants should have the right to vote. Twenty-one percent (21%) of Republicans and 30% of voters not affiliated with either major political party agree.

  1. By allowing Illegals to vote, it would destroy the integrity of the country. This would mean that anyone can come and not even apply for a VISA, but just cross the border and sign up for stuff. So why become a CITIZEN, WHY CARE ABOUT THE COUNTRY. DEMOCRATS are total Losers.

  2. If they are here illegally they aren’t an immigrant, they are an illegal alien. That simple Politically Correct touchy feely change of the word Alien to Immigrant is what causes 1 in 3 to think they should be able to vote. Change the word Immigrant back to the correct word Alien and I suspect there would be far fewer saying they should be able to vote.
