We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.

Yeah, one step forward, two steps backward. Part B premium goes up and then your Medicare supplement premium goes up, so it is a double whammy. About the only way I stay even is cut something like steak out of the budget or wait 3 more months before my next haircut.

The problem is any COLA will be eaten up by the catchup for the Part B premium.
