Social media contains a great deal of false and inaccurate information. I find it curious that so many people are hell-bent on making their ignorance of a subject known to the world.
The following highlighted comments concern Social Security and Medicare. The comments are completely inaccurate and yet they are generally accepted as the truth and the cause of Social Security’s fiscal problems which is also not true.

Truly amazing the stupid things people say on social media. For the most part though, the people who yammer away on twitter and such are inconsequential or anonymous and should be properly disregarded. What is most amazing is when our Commander in Chief “twitter head” and now his son are so quick to let the all the world see their ignorance.
