No money for seniors, families and disabled? None? Really? Just over 65% of the federal budget and most of it non-discretionary spending with no limits and high growth.
We can’t control what others do and we can’t stop misfortune from striking. But we can control our own actions. Those who are financially prudent will most likely enjoy success, even if events don’t always go their way.
QUINNSCOMMENTARY 
HUD provides grants and other housing assistance for seniors. For the seniors who still drive, there is the transportation budget. The military helps keep the seniors safe at home by keeping the fight overseas. Seniors, like the rest of citizens in America all benefit from the federal budget, it is just not cash directly in their pocket that they complain about.
The only thing I see in that pie chart that does not provide a benefit to anybody, is the oversize interest on the national debt. That is just screwing over the seniors grandkids and apparently they have been okay with that for decades.
