Give me, give me, give me

Sen Sanders is long on promises, but short on common sense and apparently so are his ardent supporters.

“He needs to share that Medicare for All plan that he’s propos­ing is go­ing to give seniors long-term care, is go­ing to give them den­tal and vi­sion, is re­ally go­ing to be some­thing that is good for se­niors,” Mr. Khanna said. WSJ 10-21-19

“Give them” That’s the key, something for nothing apparently is real.

I would say giving lots of nice things for free to anyone is good for them … aside from the fact it’s not possible. Seniors already consume a disproportionate share of resources and will consume more just to fix Social Security as it is.

We need to consider long-term multigenerational costs.
