Give up! Why not?

  1. I guess Helen Keller lived an entitled life too?
I wonder how the woke mob would feel about taking money from Madam C.J. Walker? She might have been worth as much as $15 million in todays dollars when she died in 1919. Not bad for a black women born in 1867 in Louisiana.

Everybody might not have the will and drive like Bill Gates or Madam Walker, but the American dream is always possible. It just requires work. Until 2020, I didn’t think anybody was just going to give it to you.

    1. Dwayne,
      You can say that again.

I think the old man may just be grumpy today. I don’t see most folks being any more envious or entitled than normal. A lot of healthy, hard working, well adjusted people out here.

      Sounds like Plato:
“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.”

      Or Socrates?

“cross their legs”? I don’t remember that one.

  3. Children incorrectly raised turn into adults that refuse to work for bogus reasons…i.e. entitlement, fake disability, parents financial support, ethnicity, gender, etc.
