Are you impressed with the use of trigger words like “freeloaders” and “grifters?” Many people are … sadly.

Elizabeth Warren wants to grab more money to spend money and create more ongoing, rising cost, programs. I could buy into higher taxes if they were used to lower our deficit and debt and more importantly assure we can pay for and keep sustainable the obligations we already have … like Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid and the transportation trust fund.

But if deficits and debt don’t matter why go through the charade of raising taxes, just print more and spend more as we have been doing for years. And by the way the idea that these new programs are going to be paid for is the biggest charade of all.

Why? Because using convenient scapegoats and envy targets allows her to rally the unquestioning to her cause and keep America divided.
