I have not read the book but if I had to guess I’ll bet that all 30 people worked, saved their money, bettered themselves just like I did.
Today formula seems to be; go to college, take on debt, expect a VP job after graduating and then become depressed when you find out that the rest of the world doesn’t work that way and nothing is free.
