Danger ahead

The use of rhetoric and false information to divide a country is a dangerous trend that threatens our democracy. People are increasingly exposed to fake news and propaganda on social media, which can lead them to make decisions based on inaccurate or misleading information. This can have serious consequences for the stability of a nation and its citizens. It is important for us to understand why people are so easily swayed by rhetoric and false information, and what measures can be taken to prevent it from happening in the future.

What do you think of the above? The thing is I didn’t write it. I entered some key words, checked a few boxes and artificial intelligence wrote the piece.
Scary stuff is it not?

  1. The two most recent news stories, James Comer’s bombshell on the Biden crime family, and Durham’s 400 page report on, whatever.

You will get entirely different conclusions depending on which media you use.

And often, information in the article contradicts the headline.

    Or anyone under thirty.

AI or no AI, who you gonna trust?

  2. I, for one, am excited by the advances in AI. Not just the ability to order up written materials but the ability to scan X-rays, write code, and many other things. This is just the beginning of a new age.

  3. I believe that Edgar Allan Poe has to update his short story “The System of Dr. Tarr and Prof. Fether” quote: Believe Nothing You Hear, and Only One Half That You See.

With AI, you can’t believe anything you see online or in the media. I am not sure you can believe it if you were actually there.

I now distrust all government agencies for many reasons dating back years so I can’t trust their websites for up to date facts. The main stream media has not done proper investigations since maybe Watergate.

The book “1984” was not fiction but a blue print. Now with AI, I fear that we have cross the point of no return. I am glad that my days are numbered. I fear for my grandchildren of the world that they will have to live in.

  4. People are increasingly exposed to propaganda and fake news from mainstream media. Just check the response from the Durham report. They won awards by reporting on the fake news

    1. AI is not the first cause of lies and deceit. 51 “intelligence officials” have done the job without the benefit of AI.
