What he will do – no focus for sure

The following is from Donald Trumps own words. This is what he says he will do.

  • Low taxes and regulation
  • The most powerful military
  • Tariffs and taxes on other countries that have taken advantage of the United States
  • Make the Country rich and debt free – again
  • Protection of our under siege 2nd Amendment
  • Great health care
  • Low energy prices and even energy independence and dominance
  • Parental power on school boards
  • Life, strong borders and so much more

TRUMPISM IS VERY, VERY SIMPLE…
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/110781828901024566

Who doesn’t like low taxes? But how do we pay for all we want?

Most powerful military? Look it up, the USA has the most powerful military.

Tariffs and taxes on other countries? Have you looked in your clothes closet? Look where everything from golf clubs to furniture is made. Higher tariffs and taxes on imports means higher prices or shortages or both. Can you say inflation? Oh yeah, also retaliation on US made products. Can you say layoffs?

Rich and debt free – again. The USA is the richest country in the world of any significant size. Debt free? What a joke😂. Under Donald Trump’s leadership national debt increased by $6.7 trillion. Yup it also increased under Obama and Biden and was never was the US debt free except under Andrew Jackson in 1835. To say any president will make the USA debt free in four years is outrageously ludicrous. Think of what it would take to eliminate $32 trillion in debt, think of the consequences.

The 2nd Amendment is not under siege. A reasonable management of weapons is rational and does not take away rights for people who feel they need a weapon, especially for recreational activities, even personal protection.

Great health care. Where have we heard this before? Oh yes 2016. Let’s define “great” and clarify we are not talking about health care, but the payment of health care expenses. At the moment and for many years there is no rational plan and one has yet to be proposed, especially from the Trump camp.

Low energy prices and even energy independence and dominance. Don’t we wish. Somebody better explain global markets. Let’s hear more about forcing low energy prices. “Low.”

Parental power on school boards – school boards are elected, members are parents. This is nothing but religious right pandering.

Life, strong borders and so much more – words designed to create impressions in an individual’s mind in any way they perceive the words. What does “strong” mean? I think it’s similar to “great.”

There is political rhetoric even pandering all the time and then there is this. Think of the impossibility of all this occurring, especially concurrently. Think of the consequences.

No matter what you hear or from whom, think it through before jumping on board.

  1. Sorry G, have never looked at or seen Q-anon. Sorry to hear that a fellow serviceman is willing to support traitors like Miley, who actually offered to betray his country to the Chinese. Maybe he’s on the same payment plan as Zhaou Biden. All the Secdefs since the Muslim took office are suspect.. I suspect you are probably an officer as they were more politically indoctrinated.

    1. What a dark world you live in, where China and “Muslims” are secretly running America but we are all sheep and don’t realize it…yet, right now we have record unemployment and are performing substantially better than any other developed economy in the world…that must be part of the conspiracy theory too.

Glad to see your posts restored.

Don’t question your beliefs and sanity. Trump is crazy. And unbelievably dangerous.

    Give us strength.

    1. Amen brother. There is nothing more important right now to the future of our country than keeping Trump out of power. Throwing away our democracy and losing our ability to hold government accountable through elections would be devastating. I especially admire those on the conservative side that have the strength to stand up for their values and put country above party.

  5. I won’t try to defend Trump’s character from the standpoint that he is both egotistical and narcissistic. Biden, on the other hand, has been lying, plagiarizing and embellishing so long now that the public is used to it. I won’t even address how he has used his political positions to line his own pockets which may be finally coming to light. I’d say their character is a wash.

All I know is that, during Trump’s four years, America had a sense of pride, justice and nationalism not felt for years. Our borders were properly controlled, our military felt appreciated and supported and we were energy dependent. Americans were allowed to feel pride again in who they are instead of apologizing to the world. And yes, the rest of the world had a healthy fear of crazy and unpredictable Trump and that was good. I’ll take peace through power and strength any day over this apologetic shame exuded by the current administration.

Fortunately, my family and I have a “peace that passes all understanding “ since we know God is ultimately in control. Aren’t you glad you opened this door?

    1. None of what you wrote is true, but even if it was, it still wouldn’t matter because Trump tried to overthrow our democracy and is openly willing to do it again. Pretty much nothing else matters. If you don’t like Biden, vote him out and he will leave. But if you don’t like Trump or his goons, you may be stuck with them forever, a la Hugo Chavez and his successors. No self respecting American could support Trump after seeing Jan 6th.

      1. Trump’s idea of clearing the swamp is to eliminate anyone who disagrees with him personally. Like the FDA which wouldn’t bypass vaccine trials, or the National Weather Service which corrected his sharpie lies. He wants most federal employees to be at will. At his will, period.
He does not know more about everything than anybody. He is a spoiled child in an old man’s body. The damage he could cause in a second term would be virtually irreversible.
It could already be past tense if Joe had not stopped him. Thank you, Joe Biden.
You like conspiracy theories? Do you think Biden is a puppet president?
I think Trump is a useful idiot. Someone, somewhere, is playing him like the banjo in “Deliverance”. The guys with the real money and power. It is Shakespearean.

Interesting thread, Mr. Quinn. At least it’s cathartic.

      2. The swamp. I was a (proud) civil servant, State of California. Although a very low level employee, there were at least two times I would have been fired were it not for civil service employee protections. For one of those, instead of being fired, I received a Governor’s commendation, and financial reward large enough to take my wife on a Hawaii sunset dinner cruise.
I had to pay the round trip air fare and hotel myself, but it was a nice dinner.

  6. Well…..I think it’s best Trump moves on doing something else since he’s past his prime, so to speak. I like how he’s been a thorn in the established powers that are in the Federal bueauracracy (ms) and their hypocrisy knowing what’s right for the common folks.
The media will lose their favorite whipping boy for entertainment.
I just hope we the voters elect someone else than Trump or Biden! And this country is no longer rich; it’s the largest debtor nation by far!

  7. Trump seeks to undermine the faith an trust in all the institutions that actually made this country. He wants his followers to believe he is the only thing they can trust and he is willing to sacrifice all else to attain that end. I can be skeptical of others including Biden but nothing Trump says is true or accurate. I did not leave the Republican Party, they left me for La-La land years ago.

    1. I agree. We desperately need a competent, fiscally conservative, sane, pro-business, free trade, global institution supporting, national security focused, center-right Republican Party, as a counterbalance to the far left. Instead we have orange Hugo Chavez…

  8. He is literally running for President so he can pardon himself. He has no real ideology or policy proposals besides his own self interest. Nearly his entire own cabinet from his first term has condemned him as a criminal and aspiring dictator. If he wins in 2024, he will likely will continue turning America into something like Venezuela. We were lucky the first time because he was so incompetent but now his advisors have concrete public plans to purge the civil service and remove any remaining institutional guardrails. He is actually openly running on an autocratic platform. You can be a conservative and honor your values without being forced to support a candidate who trashes those values

  9. You need to expand what you read. Several US senators are in support of repealing the 2nd Amendment but they know they don’t have the votes to push a constitutional amendment at this time. Under Trump, gas prices were lower at the pump for me here in NJ and the US was a net exporter under Trump. I guess we will still be a net exporter when Biden bans all gas heater, stoves, and dryers or until our national oil reserves run out? As far as school boards you didn’t read anything about Virginia? Nor have you read anything on the FBI investigating parents who complain or Catholics for being extremist? The ATF and IRS making SWAT raids on business days only after they file lawsuits? Do you really believe that our southern boarder are secure now too?

As far as taxes and healthcare, show me a politician that tells the truth on those subjects. I want to vote for him.

Note that Trump didn’t say he was going to save social security and Medicare but he also didn’t say that he was going to kill social security and Medicare programs which is so often used as campaign BS.

To be honest. I don’t know if I should believe even what I wrote because other than gas prices, I can’t prove anything that the media writes as the truth.

    1. When I hear from people that that they can’t trust the media or government, the next thing they usually tell me is that “expand their reading” and get their news from right wing talk radio or YouTube or Facebook. Legacy media isn’t perfect, just like democracy, but it is far more reliable than the alternatives. The whole goal of Trump and his ilk, because they can’t make a coherent winning argument on policy or ideas, is to destroy trust in our public institutions. It seems to be working sadly with a lot of the inaccurate information you listed. And there is no way to refute it with facts because you wouldn’t trust any sources anyway if the information went contrary to your beliefs.

      1. Its true. Expand your sources. Read oversea news that have no skin in the game. It may not be the whole truth but it is enough to critically question what the US main stream media is feeding you.

And no, the public institutions have destroyed their trust all on their own. I don’t trust the FBI, FDA, DOJ, DOE, ATF, FAA, TSA, and I totally forgot about the SEC until I watch a show on Bernie Madoff last night. For 8 years the SEC was given evidence of the Ponzi scheme and they did nothing. If the Covid response didn’t open your eye to the workings of the FDA, then there is no hope in having a conversation.

I am anti- deep state, not pro Trump.

      2. And you have a viable alternative to all that you distrust? Keep in mind the people in these agencies are just people like everyone else, not the enemy. I suspect they screw up from time to time as we all do. If you don’t trust our government, there is no government.

But it is clear in his own words, as you pointed out, that he is unfit for any public servant role. During his first term, my job allowed me to see first hand how incompetent and corrupt everything was under his “leadership”. Anyway, I just wanted to commend you. I don’t always agree with you but you are authentic and brave.

      1. I expect an equally pointed view of the Biden lies. Sometimes when he speaks he doesn’t even know that he is the president.

Four of those statements of Trump were true while he was president and are no longer true. The US Military is the most powerful by equipment, but has gone woke. (inside source and my son can’t wait to get out and they are under staff. DEI is more important than combat training and so are DEI promotions).

But for the record I don’t trust either of them. I am praying for another choice come November 2024. But I don’t think anybody else will be able to break out because this is the mainstream media’s pick for the race.

      1. I’ll be more specific. Your gaslighting concerning energy is #1. We were energy independent, and energy prices were cheaper under Trump. #2 concerns the military. While our military is still powerful, relatively speaking, it has been degraded and politicized to a significant effect since the pedophile took office. While you may not be very familiar with the military and could plead ignorance, your lies concerning energy are ridiculous. You should have learned a lesson fromBud Light and stayed out of politics.

      2. Really sorry to see you being attacked by the QAnon folks like Al Corrupt below. Domestic energy production increase started during the Obama years due to the fracking boom, continued during the Trump administration, and after a small dip during the pandemic, continued the March upward during the Biden administration. The one valid point is that there was a period of the Biden administration where gas prices increased, but that is true worldwide, i.e. not something that the US government could fully control. In fact, the US did much better than other developed countries with inflation and energy prices during that period.

More to the point, whoever would vote for a candidate who wants to overthrow our democracy just for cheaper gas prices is not a good citizen who holds American values anyway. As for the military, I just ended my military career after nearly 30 years of active duty service, both during the Trump and Biden administrations. Our military was much more degraded by Trump’s attempt to unleash the military on American civil society, than anything President Biden has done. You can see this clearly in the historic trend in public opinion polls. If you don’t believe me, look at the comments of all the SecDefs during his administration, all people that he handpicked who are now unanimous in their condemnation of his actions. Al Corrupt can stick to the culture war and beer jokes, that is about where his knowledge ends. #Dunning-Kruger

    1. Maybe you should read a variety of sources with different opinions instead of refusing to read anything that challenges your viewpoints. It is possible that someone else is right and you are wrong, but you will never know if you do not listen to opposing viewpoints. I read and listen to both liberal and conservative sources, and more than once I have found that my initial thoughts were not supported by the facts, and my [pinions changed. No one has a monopoly on the best ideas.
