Text of a radio ad

“The average person with one credit card has a balance of $17,000.

It’s not your fault!

Credit card companies entice you to use their cards”

Because it’s not your fault the company running the ad can help you get some debt – that’s not your fault – forgiven. 😃

  1. I don’t believe the average credit card debt is 17000 but I do think a lot of people get into a revolving balance that’s costing them an arm and a leg. They never think of the interest cost on a card balance so it is their fault for carrying a balance. Of course the debt management crew makes a good living negotiating a reduced payment settlement with the card companies and round and round it goes.

  2. It’s been my life observational experience that people generally follow the path of least resistance. This means in practical terms planning only for the short term time length and not delaying for present needs and gratifications.
“If my present actions lead to burdensome money debt consequences in the future, the government will come to my rescue. SO what do I have to lose because there’s so many like me and the government will have to respond if we put up a big enough stink”?

  3. Of course it is not the fault of the borrower–why should anyone be responsible for their acts–sign on the dotted on for a student loan and expect some working guy or gal to pay it–another vote buying scheme–it goes on and on–and these same folks want the feds to run the health care system–what a joke!
